Bounce to the top of a tall pole
Bounce Up is a free game in which the objective is to bounce a ball to the goal at the top of a tall pole. It is suitable for all ages and, because of its simplicity, makes a good time-killing title.
The game has a straightforward but novel gameplay mechanic. This factor is what separates it from many of the other bouncing ball games that primarily focus on destroying blocks, such as Bricks Demolition. At the same time, it is more than a stress-relieving ball simulator like Kinetic Balls.
Rotate the pole, bounce the ball
Although Bounce Up is centered on a bouncing ball, the player does not control the ball directly. Instead, your job is to rotate a tall pole with paddles sticking out of its sides. If you time your rotations correctly, then the ball will hit a paddle and bounce further up the pole.
Diamonds and trampolines
Some of the paddles on the pole contain items. As well as orange trampolines that give your ball an extra boost, you can expect to run into yellow diamonds that boost your score. Sometimes, you might have to choose between one and the other. The trampoline boost might cause you to miss a diamond.
A fatal bug
If you let the ball fall off the bottom of the screen, then you lose the game, although you can restart from the same area of the pole. Here, the game sometimes runs into a fatal bug. Depending on where on the pole you are, the ball might be recreated in an area with no paddles to save it.
A flawed game with charms
The addictive simplicity of Bounce Up will make it an appealing game for many players. The only issue to take into account before you play is the frustration factor involved when you let the ball fall, particularly considering the potentially game-breaking bug that can occur.
